Crow Orpheus II is a unique synthesizer for reaktor that will add new beautiful colors to your sound palette! Extreme leads, distorted guitars, powerful basses, dreamy pads, electric pianos, and amazing experimental sounds- Orpheus is capable of doing all of it and much more, with superb sound quality! Orpheus is based on the SLS (sample loop synthesis) method: by making a very short loop out of a sample, a playable and musical waveform is being made. The waveforms created this way are very complex, and become more complex as you enlarge the loop length. The result is a very rich sound source with a special flavor. Each sample enables the creation of different waveforms, and by changing the loop-length and the loop-location you can shape the waveform to fit your needs. In addition, the use of an LFO or an envelope to modulate the loop-length, can create beautiful to strange reactions. Orpheus makes a clever use of this innovative synthesis technique with 2 powerful SLS oscillators, one special morphing oscillator, 3 envelopes, 2 advanced LFOs with a geiger mode for special irregular modulations, multi-mode filter and many other features that were especially designed to get the best out of the SLS method. Orpheus has an extended effects section which includes: reverb, chorus, phaser, flanger, delay & tape delay, saturator, compressor, graphic equalizer and stereo expander. You will get Orpheus with 250 presets divided into 5 sound-banks: Leads, Keyboards&Pads, Basses, FX and the special 'strange world' bank. * Orpheus II is an improved version of the original Orpheus with more samples to choose from in the oscillator section, many new modulation options, and new filters and effects.
