Crow Theremin
is a theremin emulator for
reaktor. Based
on the SLS (Sample-Loop Synthesis) method, with 10 different real
theremin samples, Crow Theremin produces an amazing analog theremin sound.
The theremin is one of the earliest fully
electronic musical instrument. The
theremin is unusual in that it requires no physical contact in order to
produce music and was, in fact, the first musical instrument designed to
be played without being touched.
Well, you do
have to touch your keyboard to play Crow Theremin, but it sounds just
like the real thing, and you are able to control
the
vibrato amount (with your modulation wheel) and the amplitude (with the
volume controller), for the authentic theremin feel!
